Spring 2020 Roundtable: Case Study Contest
Calling all case studies for the Spring 2020 Roundtable!
How would you like to earn CPEs and $100? We are challenging all Roundtable members to join our 1st Annual Case Study Contest.
Your case study will highlight a common issue facing a vendor-management program: employee-vendor collusion, an oilfield incident involving a contractor, a supply chain cybersecurity attack, a vendor audit that didn't go well, etc.
Your case study solutions must answer these questions:
“What controls, policies, or procedures may have prevented this issue from occurring?”
“What action plans and executive decisions would you recommend to the company as a result of that issue?”
Your case study must adhere to these rules:
The case study can be an actual or a fictitious event. If an actual event, please change any actual company or employee names.
You may collaborate with a peer to develop the case study.
One submission per person/team.
Prepare a verbal proposal for your case study. You do not need to write the case study at this time.
