Procurement fraud within the oil and gas industry is on the rise. The various types of schemes are numerous; however, there are ways to detect and prevent them. Anastasia Nazarova will highlight how fraudsters are using the Procurement and Supply Chain departments to commit fraud. Anastasia will also be walking us through how a company's internal control breakdown led to a recent fraud case.

After graduating from the UK University with First Class BSC (Hons) Degree in Management, Anastasia spent six years working in Internal Audit function of Gazprom Marketing & Trading company, as well as one year in their LNG & Shipping department. She now leads complex JV, finance, operational, and SOX audits for Chevron’s Corporate Audit department. She conducts these audits in the UK, Eurasia, and Africa. She is also a Co-Lead of the Chevron Fraud Subject Matter Expert team. Anastasia is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA).
